The grass is durable, so that you can expect it to last particularly in areas of heavy usage, like walkways.
Just imagine no more slippery, muddy areas, no more muddy shoes or muddy dogs’ paws to have to clean up! Also, no more replacing dead patches of grass.
Installing artificial grass means you will have a durable surface and gives you the benefit of reducing your cleaning list.
You only need to carry out light maintenance once the grass is installed, so no more lugging the lawn mower around, or getting down on your hands and knees to weed the grass.
This, of course, generates you savings on time and up-keep costs, and is particularly useful if maintenance isn’t possible or practical.
Because you won’t need to mow or water the grass, or even apply fertilisers or pesticides, you are helping the environment, and saving yourself money.

How do I look after and maintain my artificial grass?

It is important to regularly remove leaves, twigs and other organic material, either with a leaf blower / vacuum cleaner, a stiff brush or a rake. Larger objects such as branches must be removed manually.
If moss appears in areas where there is not enough sunlight, an anti-moss treatment could be necessary, preferably applied during the spring and autumn. Use a bio-degradable product for this; never use acidic liquids or bleach as these chemicals could damage the fibres if applied in too high a concentration.
There is no need to remove snow and ice from the surface; simply allow to melt and drain off.
Animal droppings should be removed as soon as possible, after which the artificial turf should be rinsed with water.
Substances such as oil, acids, solvents or fuels should never come into contact with your artificial lawns.
Do not throw cigarette butts on the turf and do not expose the turf to fire, fireworks, welding activities or barbecues, as this could cause the fibres to melt and clump together.

I’m not very good at measuring up an area myself. Do you offer a measuring service?

Yes we offer all our customers a measuring service. Contact us today on 01443 229900 to arrange for one of our fitters to come and measure out the area you want to have our laminate, wooden floor, carpet, vinyl or artificial grass installed and fitted.

What about fitting the artificial grass or laminate can you fit this for me too?

Most definitely! We don’t just sell flooring at great prices we offer a full service from initial consultation, measuring up your garden, house or business but we also offer fitting on all of our products we sell.

Does the flooring come with a warranty?

Lifestyle Floors comes with a minimum of 5 years to a life-time warranty depending on what type of flooring you choose.

Lifestyle Floors engineered wood flooring offers a 15 year residential wear warranty providing it has been installed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
